Job Description

OrthoMed Solutions is seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Representative to join our growing team as an independent contractor (1099). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales, particularly in orthopedics, and strong relationships with surgeons and hospital staff in the Boston area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, and key decision-makers
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical support during surgical procedures
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets in assigned territory
  • Stay current on product knowledge, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation and customer retention strategies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in orthopedics
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong network of relationships with surgeons and hospital staff in the Boston area
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related field
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 50%)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation:

This is a commission-based position with the potential to earn $150,000+ annually. Top performers consistently earn $200,000+. We offer one of the most competitive commission structures in the industry.
